Cedar Breaks National Monument

We drove from the campground near Bryce Canyopn to Cedar Breaks this morning. Cedar Breaks National Monument was established in 1933. It is a natural amphitheater, stretching approximately 3 miles and it is more than 2,000 feet deep.

Our first stop was at Chessman Ridge

From Chessmen Ridge we drove to the Welcome Center and Point Supreme

the formations we saw at Cedar Break are similar to what we saw at Bryce Canyon but they appear a little older and more eroded at Cedar Break

We followed different routes to and from Cedar Breaks  and both routes were very scenic with several lakes and lots of fall color.
