Las Vegas for the Grand Circle Rally

After spending a little time to catch up with what has been happening with our  our friends, Larry and Linda Luman in Scotsdale, Az. we continued on to Las Vegas arriving on September 3rd at the Oasis RV park. the RV Park was the nicest Passport America park we have ever stayed in.

While in Las Vegas we went to see a musical at Harrah's "the Million Dollar Quartet" it's about an impromptu jam session involving Elvis PresleyJerry Lee LewisCarl Perkins, and Johnny Cash made at Sun Record Studios in Memphis. The show was well worth our time.

Las Vegas was very hot most of the time we were there so we limited our activities to evening walks on the Strip, time in the pool  and a lunch at Smith and Wollensky's with our friends Jerry and Sue Leonard

We always enjoy the Leonard's company and frequently end up  spending an afternoon or evening playing cards with them.

Once the rally started we had a get together to discuss some of the ground rules for the rally and then we headed out for dinner at a nearby casino.

Natasha Nichols is our official photographer for the rally.

Garland and Dorothy Land are the rally masters

Our planned route to Zion was wiped out by sa flash flood that evening so the next morning we headed to Willams Arizona as a via point and on to The Bryce Canyon area for 4 nights.
